The Sunny has told Nissan India what success feels like and now that they have the momentum in their favour, they are planning on sustaining that momentum. Nissan has launched a Special Edition of the bestseller Nissan Sunny and the addition of newer features surely will boost the sales of their flagship sedan. Moreover this move comes as a result of its toughest competitor, the Vento getting a host of new features.
The Sunny even though does not get some ground breaking features, but come in handy every now and then. It gets an all new touch screen audio system, chrome treatment at the rear, a rear spoiler to give it that wannabe sporty look and the much helpful rear parking sensors which prevent the damages to your bumpers when reversing or parking in tight parking situations. These are the features that you know have existed for a while, but never really went on to buy them except the rear parking sensors.
The special edition of Nissan Sunny will be available in top end of petrol and diesel XV models only. This means that the addition of these new features shall also move up the hierarchy and the other variants, in both petrol and diesel hearts shall get them as well.
Special features of the special editions include:
- Premium leather seats
- 2 DIN touch-screen multi-media audio system
- Audio system with DVD, Bluetooth, USB & Remote
- Special body side mouldings
- Chrome-plated trunk detailing
- Rear view parking camera
The Sunny will also get the CVT automatic gearbox in addition to the newer features sometime later this year as we reported earlier. The Nissan Sunny makes quite a compelling buy considering it offers a plush ride and has a certain elegance in the design and the car has been standing strong against the seasoned competitors like the Verna, Vento and the City. And the Sunny, just got brighter.
