The German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz has given the E63 AMG a bolder facelift for its 2014 model. The 2014 version of the E63 AMG was revealed by the company recently. And this doesn’t make towards cosmetic upgrade only thing. The car in facts gets serious performance upgrades too. However, Mercedes is aiming this as the mid-facelift model to keep the competition going strong against its German rivals BMW and Audi in the global market till the company brings out an all-new version. The revisions have been applied by the company to both the sedan and estate type models in the E63 AMG portfolio.
From the pictures, it is clear that the styling changes have been very radical. The headlight design has changed completely along with the front grille, the bumper and the massive air dams. This can be expected to be the start of a shift in the design of AMG badged models to make the differentiation more clear between AMG and the standard Mercedes models. Mercedes claims that the increase in size of the air dams helps better flow of air underneath the car, which makes us to think that the company has done some serious aerodynamic performance improvements too.
