Hyundai’s success rate has always been high and it is evident as it is the next major seller after Maruti Suzuki in our country. Talking about the success of the major, it is known in all the volumes pulling segment like the small car, premium hatchback and sedan but as far as the SUV segment is concerned, the automaker is still to make a long journey before it tastes success.
Hyundai, with its new Fluidic design language, is getting a lot of appreciation and this is one of the reasons why it is adopting the new language for its complete line-up. The next products to be sporting the new look is the Hyundai i20 and Hyundai Santa Fe. The Fluidic i20 has been spotted a couple of times so it could be expected that the official launch will take place in a few months from now.
Coming to Santa Fe, thousands of miles away near the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia the new 2013 Fluidic Santa Fe has been spotted. Though spotted for a short while, fellow blog WorldCarFans’ correspondents got enough time to capture some good shots of the car.

For the North American market the car will retain its name Santa Fe while for the European market the company is speculate to use a new name, Hyundai ix45. Coming to the car now, the prototype was under heavy camouflage when caught but the front fascia spoke a lot than expected. The overall styling can be matched with the current model and the only major difference is the headlamps which are quite similar to that of the Hyundai Verna Fluidic.

Even the fenders, three step grille seems to be the same but the actual changes would only be uncovered when we see the car without a camouflage. Under the hood, considering the rumours, the car will equip a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder MPFI petrol engine good enough for 274 BHP of max power and 364 Nm of peak torque. Beside this a 2.0 litre Euro6 engine developing 150 BHP is also said to be making its way into the car.
