We recently brought to you the news of 2014 India Grand Prix getting cancelled but we should not be worried about that now, because the tickets for this year’s Indian Grand Prix are now on sale! The venue to the race will be the brilliant Buddh International Circuit, located in Noida. The 2012 Grand Prix had a poor sales show with half of the tickets remaining unsold for the simple reason that they were a bit on the costlier side of things. In order to ensure that the sales this time are not as bad Jaypee Sports International (JPSI), organisers of the event, have priced the tickets from as low as Rs 1,500 .
JPSI has introduced a special Race Day ticket this year which will surely attract in a slew of fans. “Formula 1 lovers now have every reason to cheer as single day race tickets have been launched together with the season tickets in order to draw more and more number of spectators for the race day. With one of the cheapest tickets available on the F1 calendar, we hope to put up another memorable racing weekend at BIC in October,” said Sameer Gaur, MD & CEO, JPSI.
The tickets are available on bookmyshow.com and Mercedes-Benz dealerships at the Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Chandigarh. The German automobile manufacturer is the official automobile partner of the BIC and it recently launched the E63 AMG at the BIC as well. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will be taking charge of the racing department for Mercedes-Benz in the third edition of the Indian Grand Prix.
Here’s a list of all the ticket prices:
Main Grand Stand Lower Tier: The season ticket has been priced at Rs 21,000 while the race day ticket will cost Rs 12,000.
Main Grand Stand Upper Tier: The season ticket will cost Rs 15,000 while the race day ticket will set you back by Rs 10,000.
Premium Stand: The season ticket will sell for Rs 10,000 and the race day ticket will be on sale for Rs 7,500.
Star Stand: The season ticket will be up for sale for Rs 7,500 while the race day ticket will be up for Rs 5,000
Picnic Stand: The Picnic Stand will be the cheapest of the lot. It has been priced at Rs 2,000 for the season ticket and Rs 1,500 for the race day ticket.
