Audi India has officially launched the 2013 Audi Q5 in India in Delhi. The 2013 Q5 is priced starting Rs. 43.16 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The bookings and deliveries start from today (10th Jan 2013).

Every car in its lifespan undergoes many facelifts, minor tweaks, engine upgradations and even new generations. Every automobile company follows the policies of giving facelifts to it models timely. In today’s worlds new technology is introduced everyday so it becomes essential for the company to bring facelifts to cope up with the technology and design. Now the news has arrived regarding Audi’s stable as it plans to facelifts its popular Audi Q5, read further for more details.
Audi Q5 is a crossover SUV and has been a successful model from Audi in the Indian automobile market. The compact dimensions, off-roading abilities, packed with luxuries and goodies are some of the catching features of the Audi Q5. The facelift of the 2013 Q5 has been spotted quite a time on the Indian roads and is expected to launch in Q1 if 2013. The facelift made its debut at the Paris show earlier this year.
The changes done to the facelift are mainly exterior, the Q5 gets an all-new set of headlamps, different LED’s at the rear and a rear diffuser too. The Q5 is given the new Audi’s grill which is bold and in hexagon shape, new fog lamps and a new revised front bumper. Talking of the interiors minor changes will done their too like the new steering wheel and a new premium trim.
All such changes make the facelifted Q5 look more sophisticated and mature. Powertrain is expected to be same 2.0 litre TDI, 2.0 litre TFSI and above them is the 3.0 litre TDI which produces 245bhp. Audi Q5 competes with the Range Rover Evoque and BMW X3. The facelift may come with a new price tag and currently Audi Q5 is offered with a discount of 2 lakhs.
