Maruti Suzuki India has launched the new model of 2012 Maruti Ritz hatchback in India at a price starting Rs. 5.31 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The new Ritz Diesel is the refreshed variant of the ongoing Maruti Ritz and gets cosmetic as well as performance improvement with capability to sprint from 0 to 60 KMPH in just 5.9 seconds and it delivers a mileage of 23.20 KMPL as per ARAI test. The car has been launched with 3 new colours, has 52 changes over the previous version, has a top end ZDi variant in the portfolio including new engine and design. The new model has been launched only with Diesel engine option and comes in 4 different trim levels, LDi, VDi, VDi with ABS and ZDi.
New 2012 Maruti Ritz Diesel Features & Specifications
Some of the key improvements in the new 2012 Maruti Ritz Diesel include:
- Improved diesel mileage of 23.20 KMPL
- New Front grille and bumper design
- New and improved headlamps
- New and sporty rear spoiler
- New Side body moulding
- Top end ZDi trim with ABS, Airgabgs, Alloy wheels, steering mounted controls etc.
- Improved seats with better lumbar support
- Multi-information display in instrument panel
- New audio system with integrated USB, Aux, Radio and CD Player
- Electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors
- Day and night inside rear view mirror
- New Colours
In all, there are 52 major and minor changes in the new Ritz 2012. The engine has been upgraded with new improved low friction engine and improved tuning to deliver better performance and mileage.
