Maruti Fronx achieves a new record for becoming the fastest SUV in the passenger vehicle segment to cross 1 lakh sales in just 10 months. Note that the Fronx was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 and launched on 24th April 2023. Before completing January 2024, the total sales are over 1 lakh units. That roughly translates to around 14 cars every hour. That is a testament to the popularity of this crossover SUV. It is based on the Baleno premium hatchback and positioned above it and below the Brezza compact SUV. Hence, it hits that sweet spot for those who want a Maruti car in this space.
