There are plenty of leaked images of the new Nexon. They reveal some pretty interesting and clear visuals. The vehicle boasts stylish LED daytime running lights positioned on the hood, a black grille at the centre featuring the Tata logo, angular LED headlights flanking the bumper, a slender skid plate beneath the bumper, a restrained application of chrome accents, and an upright bonnet. Moving to the sides, you’ll notice sophisticated and sporty alloy wheels, while the general shape closely mirrors that of the current model. At the rear, you would get a connected LED taillamp cluster.

Beneath its bonnet, the upcoming Nexon facelift could have a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that can produce 121 PS of power and 225 Nm of torque, marking a slight improvement over the current model’s performance. Additionally, the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine will continue to be available. It will deliver 115 PS and 260 Nm of power and torque. When it comes to transmission options, buyers will have a range of choices, including a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, an AMT, and a new DCT for the turbo petrol engine. The competition in this segment is fierce, with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300.
