Road accidents are an unfortunate reality of our times but we can avoid injuries by investing in cars with higher GNCAP safety ratings.
In this latest video, a Skoda Slavia was involved in a massive accident with a Toyota Etios. Now, the Etios Liva (hatchback) was tested by the GNCAP back in 2016 and it scored an impressive 4-star rating. On the other hand, the Skoda Slavia has not been crash-tested yet. However, the recent accidents show tough build which is expected from the Czech carmaker. Let us see what happened when these two collide with one another.

Skoda Slavia Involved in Accident with Toyota Etios
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. He posts such videos frequently in order to showcase the real-life performance of popular cars in unfortunate situations to raise awareness regarding road safety. This incident was reported from Maharashtra where a 1-day-old Slavia had a head-on collision with an Etios. The latter was travelling at high speed because of which the driver was unable to control the car. Resultantly, it banged into the Slavia coming from the opposite side on a single-lane road.

The damage sustained by the Etios is quite extensive. The entire front section including the bumper, fenders, windshield, grille, radiator, headlight, etc has been deformed. In fact, the impact almost reached the side pillars. However, there are no details about the injuries to the driver. On the other hand, the Slavia also faced dents in the front section but the side pillars are intact and the passengers were unharmed. Both vehicles performed quite well in this crash indicating strong build quality.
